Back to the Future Vintage Poster
It was with great excitement that I discovered that Universal had decided to re-release Back to the Future in movie theatres this October. The film is a personal favourite of mine and I couldnt miss the chance to design something to commemorate this cult classic.
My work on this poster was massively influenced by the style of Saul Bass. The colour scheme was based around the iconic shades of yellow and orange seen within the 'Back to the Future' logo. The design also hinted at the iconic flame lines often left by the speeding Delorian as it travelled off into the past/future.
The bttf vintage poster is now sold out

Hello Dave,
ReplyDeleteBack to the Future has been and will always be my all-time favorite film and I would love to purchase a copy of this print (if you choose to replicate it). I would also like to purchase one of your new Entourage Queens Blvd posters as well, so perhaps we can arrange a deal on combined shipping.
Thank you!
Looks great! I'd be in for one?
ReplyDeletethanks for the comments guys, so far I have had 5 or 6 interested buyers for the Back to the Future print, Id need over 10 people really before I can afford to get them printed so if others are interested please do let me know.
ReplyDeleteI'd be interested in a print. How much would it be per person if you got the 10 people?
ReplyDeletePrints would be £14.99, standard price really for the cost of my posters, with an additional £5 for those based outside the UK to cover postage and packaging.
ReplyDeleteAs part of the team of www.BTTF.com I've posted the link to this page on our Facebook page for all our fans to see, hopefully this will generate further excitement and interest in this piece. -Steve Cz
ReplyDeleteThanks steve, really appreciate that!
ReplyDeleteHi Dave,
ReplyDeleteJust came across your poster on slashfilm.com and wondered if there were any left to buy from you.
The poster is seriously good work. I take it you're keeping the original for yourself :)
Thanks
Nik

Great - buying one now. I also got in touch with Tom Whalen after seeing his work on your blog. You both produce some fantastic stuff.

I'm a huge fan of your work. I'm planning on purchasing your BTTF part 2 and 3 posters, but I was wondering if you had any prints of part 1 left?
ReplyDeleteThis actually answered my drawback, thanks!
ReplyDeleteHello, is there a chance you'll be printing more of the BTTF posters this year? I know someone who'd just smile for a whole year if they got one for Christmas...?
